The World of Pet Ownership

I have been christened into the world of pet ownership. Fangus has been scratching at a spot on his neck since Sunday. When I got home from teaching yesterday, the spot had grown to the size of a silver dollar. It was hairless and oozey. Poor guy!! I folded and took him to the vet. Two Benjamins later, his labs show no bacterial issues, but he gets a cortizone shot to "ease swelling," a bottle of spray stuff for the wound and some drops for his ears. Don't ask how the ears got involved. It was messy. He hates me and is forever under the bed. Sad face.
